Q: What is chiropractic health care?
A: Chiropractic health care is non-surgical, drug-free care designed to help you heal yourself. Every creature is designed with gifts of self-regeneration. You don't have to tell your body to heal a cut on your finger. However, you do have to keep the setting proper, so the body can do it's job in regeneration. This is true also of every body system and illness. The proper setting, whether it is rest, cleanliness, motion, dry, wet, light-exposure, etc., every condition heals best in it's proper setting.
My job is to discover the nature of your problem (diagnosis) and set the correct environment for healing.
Q: How long will each visit last?
A: This varies with each individual and is based on the extent of your injuries and your care plan. Most visits last about twenty minutes. Exams, re-exams, x-rays, and exercises take longer. Your first visit is typically quite involved and will take approximately one hour.
Q: What type of clothing should I wear?
A: Wear clothing that is comfortable. It should allow free movement of your arms and legs. You should bring athletic shoes if you are scheduled for exercises. Please wear shorts or loose pants for knee care.
Q: Should I bring records with me?
A: If you have access to any X-rays and records, bring them with you or we will request them for you.
Q: What should I anticipate in regards to fees?
A: A successful health center must balance fees and credit while maintaining the best quality care. Our care is affordable regardless of your health plan or income. Various payment plans and reasonable fees make Allied your affordable chiropractic clinic. You will be expected to make weekly payments on your portion of the charges based on your ability to pay.
