About the Doctor

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself.  My name is Dr. Dustin D. Emblom.  Just to give you a brief background, I was born in Sauk Centre, MN raised in Little Falls, MN, where my parents reside to this day.  I graduated from The University of Minnesota Duluth (UMD) with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Exercise Science.  I received that diploma from UMD in 2005.  In January of 2006, I entered the doctoral program at Northwestern Health Sciences University where I studied toward attaining a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree.  During that time, I interned at Woodwinds Natural Care Center in Woodbury, as well as had an extensive externship at Flying Cloud Spine and Sport in Eden Prairie, MN.  I received my Doctor of Chiropractic degree in April of 2009.

I am currently continuing my education and learning by studying to be a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician.  In addition, I plan to also get certified in acupuncture.  

After graduating from Chiropractic school, I knew that I wanted to return to Central Minnesota.  My childhood in this region of the state was a great one.  I look forward to giving back to this area of Minnesota that has been so good to me and my family for so long.

            I’m an avid sports nut and will watch and play just about anything.  I grew up playing golf, as well as being active at downhill skiing, waterskiing, wakeboarding, and kneeboarding with my family and friends.  I love doing all of those activities to this day.  I’m a MN sports fan through and through… MN Wild, The Twins, and of course the “Purple and Gold.”  I also enjoy watching college and high school hockey.  I was never fortunate to play hockey, but have always enjoyed being a fan through high school, college and up until now!!

I’m excited about the future and the adventures I have ahead of me.  I look forward to meeting all of you and practice what I believe is a wonderful form of HEALTHcare.
